A long time ago, it felt like a lifetime ago; I was furious at the world. I had been badly hurt, and the hurt turned into frustration and then the failures turned into anger and resentment. When I was angry, I only met other angry people. I would be in the car, and I would see some horrible angry person zapping a middle finger at me, and I would do the same. This happened quite regularly. It happened at grocery stores, at work and I would ask myself – why was I always getting angry people around me? I was unaware at that time that it was me who was doing this. I was sending out angry vibes to the universe and the world.
Then over time, I noticed that I was not getting any of the angry people in my life. In fact, I was getting more smiles, more people chatting to me and then I realised something in me had changed. I was no longer angry and frustrated. I was still hurt, but I was doing everything in my being to heal my past hurts. I wanted to feel more positive, and I wanted my life to take on a better and more positive direction. I wanted to be a better mother, and I wanted my daughter to learn to be more confident and happier with me. I wanted a great business; I wanted better quality relationships with my friends, clients. I wanted to feel good.
I began to notice that the more positive I was, the more I attracted positive people. The more positive people I drew, the better I felt.
I once read this, and I am paraphrasing it….
- “When I was angry, I attracted angry ”
- “When I was sad, sadness came to live with ”
- “When I was anxious anxiety came into my ”
- “When I was bitter, bitterness stayed with ”
- “When I was happy happiness was ”
- “And when I was positive, the world and the universe were all ”
As I look back, I think yes, I exerted so much energy taking out these negative vibes, and they came around to me. When I saw this quote the other day, I immediately knew how right it was
“I believe in karma, and I believe when you put out positive vibes to everybody, that’s all you are going to get back.”
Look around your life, and ask yourself the question what is in your life right this moment? Is it a sad one? Then look into yourself and ask yourself what vibes are you putting out there? Look at the people you are with, the business you have, the clients you have or anything you have they reflect the vibes you are giving out. If you are giving out negative vibes, try to change the vibes by changing your thoughts and feelings. I understand how difficult it is to get over the hurt and the shame and all the negative feelings one goes through in one’s life. But you have to try and give it a go. One step at a time, one minute at a time, one hour at a time, one day at a time and then you will wake up one day and find that the negative vibes surrounding you have gone
When you want a positive life, and you would like positive vibes coming back, start by giving and spreading positive vibes, they come back, you feel better, and you are generally less stressed out.
